Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
 3/4 cup white sugar
 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
 1 tablespoon water
 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
 2/3 cup butter, softened
 1 cup confectioners' sugar

Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the oats, sugar and cocoa. With clean hands, mix in the water, vanilla and butter to form a dough. Wash hands, then roll the dough into balls 1 to 2 inches in diameter. Roll balls in confectioners' sugar until thickly coated (or they will become crusty). Chill 20 minutes before serving.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup white sugar
 1/2 cup honey
 1/2 cup peanut butter
 3 cups toasted oat cereal
 1 cup salted peanuts (optional)

Directions:
Grease a 9x13 inch pan. In a large saucepan over medium heat, stir together the sugar and honey. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until well blended. Stir in the cereal and if desired, stir in the salted peanuts. Press into the prepared pan. Allow to cool until firm, then cut into bars.

Ingredients:
16 vanilla wafer cookies
 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
 3/4 cup white sugar
 2 eggs
 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line muffin pans with cupcake papers.
Place one wafer cookie in the bottom of each cupcake paper. In a medium bowl, cream together cream cheese and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Pour over wafers in cupcake papers.
Bake in preheated oven 15 minutes, until golden and set.

Ingredients:
2 egg whites
 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
 2 cups pecan halves

Directions:
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
In a large glass or metal mixing bowl, beat egg whites to soft peaks. Gradually add sugar, continuing to beat until whites form stiff peaks. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Drop mounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake 1 hour in the preheated oven. Turn off heat, and allow to remain in oven at least another 30 minutes, or until the centers of cookies are dry.

Ingredients:
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
 1 teaspoon baking powder
 2 eggs
 1/2 cup vegetable oil
 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips or other goodies

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix and baking powder. Add eggs and oil, then mix until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips, or your choice of additions. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Bake less for chewy cookies and more for crispy cookies. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar
 2 drops any color liquid food color

Directions:
Place sugar into a jar with a tight fitting lid. Drip the food coloring onto the sugar, close the lid, and shake vigorously for about 1 minute. Adjust color with additional food coloring and repeat if the color is too light.

 1/2 cup peanut butter
 1 cup white sugar
 2 eggs
 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
 1 cup all-purpose flour
 1 teaspoon baking powder
 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the margarine, peanut butter, and sugar. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the peanut butter mixture. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the unprepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Do not overbake: cookies will be soft and chewy. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar
 3/4 cup butter
 2/3 cup milk
 1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
 3 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Mix together the sugar, butter or margarine and the milk in a large pot and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes.
Turn off heat and add in the pudding, oats and vanilla. Mix well and let stand for 5 minutes.
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
